These visitors enter the U.S. regularly for shopping, tourism, work, and socialization with family and friends. In the process, a considerable amount of money is spent on a multitude on items like clothing, groceries, appliances, vehicles, furniture, lodgings, restaurants, medical facilities, etc.
The Mexican cross-border shopper travel parties spent approximately $1,568 per trip day, approximately $4,700 per trip and $11,500 annually.
